About Waddle World
A small AS2 server you play in the browser through Ruffle. It runs on the same site and client setup as Penguin Eclipse and shares some of its staff, and there's very little written about it anywhere else.
WaddleWorld is an AS2 server played in the browser through Ruffle, with no Flash plugin needed. Its FAQ says it's free, works in Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, and can be played on phones, where you can add it to your home screen like an app.
The site is basically a reskin of Penguin Eclipse. Its update log is the same as Penguin Eclipse's up to March 28, 2026, word for word with the name swapped, and its terms of use have the same effective date. Its contributor list has Perkins as co-owner next to a lead developer called "no_user :3", plus several of the same Penguin Eclipse developers, mods and beta testers. The Discord widget on its community page actually loads the Penguin Eclipse Discord, while its own invite link goes to a server called Club Penguin Reimagined.
We couldn't find a wiki page, Reddit posts or videos about it, so we can't say when it really started or how many people play. Its update log hasn't had a new entry since March 2026.
Who runs it
The contributor list names no_user :3 (lead developer, co-owner) and Perkins (lead designer, co-owner), developers clockwork and lifeofgames477, and moderators JustADude and Theo.
Parties and updates
No events were listed when we checked in October 2026, and the update log stops at March 2026.

History
Is Waddle World safe?
Moderation and chat filtering on Waddle World are weak from what we've seen, so younger players should be careful and nobody should share personal info in chat. Its security looks okay from the outside, but it's missing a few extras the best servers have. Like with any CPPS, use a password you don't use anywhere else.
