About Original Penguin
A small AS1/AS2 server that launched in April 2025 and loads the game right on a page made to look like the old Club Penguin site. Play it in the browser with Ruffle or with the desktop app.
Original Penguin (OP) is an AS1/AS2 server that the CPPS wiki says launched on April 4, 2025, with N8Dogg listed as owner. The play page copies the old Club Penguin page layout, down to the ESRB and TRUSTe badges in the footer, and the game runs in the page through Ruffle.
There's also an official desktop app on GitHub for Windows, Mac and Linux. Its first release came out on March 22, 2025 and the latest one, 5.3.2, in August 2025. The CPPS wiki lists English, Spanish and Portuguese with active staff. The site has no news page, so we couldn't find much about updates or events.
Who runs it
N8Dogg (owner, per the CPPS wiki)

History
Is Original Penguin safe?
Original Penguin has a working chat filter and moderators who actually deal with reports, so it's one of the safer servers on the list. Its security looks okay from the outside, but it's missing a few extras the best servers have. Like with any CPPS, use a password you don't use anywhere else.
How to play Original Penguin
Original Penguin plays in your browser through Ruffle, a Flash emulator, so you don't need Flash installed. If you'd rather not play in the browser they have a desktop app too. Make an account on ogpenguin.online first.
