About Club Penguin Boreal
A free, browser-based Spanish CPPS that also plays in English, with all three Card-Jitsu modes and a live chat translator between Spanish and English players. It's small and new, so it's worth a look if you want a Spanish-speaking island that's still being built.
Club Penguin Boreal (it writes its name as "Club Penguin: Boreal") is a fan-made private server that you play straight from the browser at cpboreal.com/play, with nothing to download. The game page loads the Yukon HTML5 client, and the FAQ says it works on phones and tablets as well as computers. It's free to make a penguin and play, and the site says clearly it's an unofficial project with no ties to Disney.
It started out in Spanish and added English later. In October 2026 the team switched on full multi-language support: when you change the language, the room art, minigames, NPC dialogue and catalogs all switch too. There's also a real-time chat translator that converts messages between Spanish and English, so players who don't share a language can still talk.
The game covers the classic stuff: Town, Plaza, Beach and the other usual rooms, puffles to adopt, igloos to decorate, minigames for coins and leaderboards for the games. The Dojo has Card-Jitsu, and by October 2026 the team said Fire, Water and Snow were all finished.
Signing up works differently from most servers. An adult always does the registration with their own email, either for their own account or as a parent or guardian setting one up for a kid, and every penguin has to be activated through an email link. Passwords need at least 12 characters, and the site keeps telling you to use one you don't use anywhere else.
Parties and updates
No set schedule yet. The site says parties and events get announced in the news section and on Discord once dates are confirmed. So far the news posts are about development (Card-Jitsu and language support, October 2026), not parties.
What's in Club Penguin Boreal
- Card-Jitsu Fire, Water and Snow
All three Card-Jitsu modes are in, and you get to Fire through the Dojo like in the original game.
- Spanish and English, all the way through
Switching the language changes the whole game, including maps, minigames, NPC talk and catalogs, not just the menus.
- Chat translator
A real-time translator turns your chat messages into the other player's language. For now it only works between Spanish and English.
- Minigame leaderboards
Play the minigames for coins and compete on rankings for each game.
- Adult-registered accounts
Only someone 18 or older can register, using their own email, either for themselves or for a child they supervise. Every account is activated by an email link.
- Plays in the browser, phones included
No download. You play at cpboreal.com/play on a computer, tablet or phone.
- In-site bug reports
There's a bug report page where you log in, pick a category (room, minigame, account, website) and attach a screenshot, up to three reports a day. You can also open a ticket on Discord.

Is Club Penguin Boreal safe?
Club Penguin Boreal has a chat filter and some moderation, but it can be hit or miss. It's fine for most players, just use the report button if something's off. Its security looks okay from the outside, but it's missing a few extras the best servers have. Like with any CPPS, use a password you don't use anywhere else.
