Aventure Pingouin

About Aventure Pingouin

A French AS3 server that opened in October 2017, a few months after Club Penguin closed, and calls itself the first French-speaking CPPS. It sticks close to the original game but adds its own parties, quests, catalogs and mascots.

Aventure Pingouin was made by Superglacer, Nheft and Rasyolo, who had already run a CPPS together for about six months in 2016. After dropping a much bigger idea with a fully redrawn island, they started over in September 2017 with something simpler and close to the original game, and opened on October 30, 2017.

It's based on the AS3 era and everything is free, including member content. You play with the launcher for Windows or Mac, or since May 2026 in the browser through Ruffle on computers, tablets and phones, though the team still says the launcher is the most stable. Moderators approve every penguin name by hand, usually within 24 hours.

It has had some rough patches. A server problem in winter 2018 wiped several months of data and closed it for a few weeks, activity dropped after 2020 when the founders got busy, and a database failure at New Year 2025 lost every account. Superglacer couldn't recover the data, so everyone started from zero when it reopened on June 10, 2025.

Since late 2025 it has been much more active, with a bigger team led day to day by neb and Miloud4. There's a monthly Pingouin du Mois, monthly recap posts, igloo contests, and Project: Nouveau Souffle, a long-term room redesign that started with the Boiler Room in August 2026. The community also runs its own Aventure Pingouin wiki on Fandom.

Who runs it

Founded by Superglacer, Nheft and Rasyolo, who are still listed as admins. neb (admin and lead designer) and Miloud4 (admin) handle most of the day-to-day running, with Luigi301 as head designer and Tante Arctic as editor in chief of the blog.

Parties and updates

A party or mini-event most months plus a monthly recap and Pingouin du Mois. Recent: Fête Foraine (September 2026), Octobre Rose (October 2026) and a Halloween party being teased with a construction trailer in October 2026.

What's in Aventure Pingouin

• Custom parties and quests

Mixes reruns of classic parties with its own, like the 2025 Halloween party with ghost hunts, rooms opening day by day and Skip as the villain.

• Transformations

A permanent transformation menu sits in the top-right corner of the game screen. Its interface dates back to the founders' earlier CPPS.

• Card-Jitsu, Fire and Water

Normal Card-Jitsu, Card-Jitsu Fire and Card-Jitsu Water all work. Card-Jitsu Snow isn't in yet.

• Two clothing catalogs

The shop has a seasonal catalog with custom and classic items plus a monthly Retro Catalog.

• Pingouin du Mois

A monthly blog feature that picks a player of the month. Issue #32 came out in October 2026.

• Treasure codes

Codes posted on the blog unlock items, like the permanent one added when the fan wiki passed 100 pages.

• Name approval

New penguins show up as Pxxxxx until a moderator approves the name, usually within 24 hours.

Is Aventure Pingouin safe?

Aventure Pingouin has a chat filter and some moderation, but it can be hit or miss. It's fine for most players, just use the report button if something's off. Security is rated low, which means it's missing some of the basics we check for, like proper HTTPS, up to date software or a protected sign-up. Like with any CPPS, use a password you don't use anywhere else.
