HeyPenguin

About HeyPenguin

A small, totally free browser server where everyone gets membership and coins, and the main draw is customization: chat commands let you recolor your name, chat bubbles, glow, playercard and even tint each clothing item.

HeyPenguin is a free Club Penguin private server you play right in the browser with no download. Its homepage sells three things: free membership, custom items and free coins. The support page says flat out that nothing on the server costs money.

The fun part is the command list. You can type things like !ng ff0000 to change your name glow, change your chat bubble and text colors, set a custom mood line, resize your penguin, change your walking speed, and tint your head, face, neck, body, hand, feet, flag and photo items one by one. There are also /bold, /underline, /big and /small for chat text, and commands to add any item by ID or add every item at once.

The game client is the Yukon HTML5 client with Ruffle loaded for Flash bits. There isn't much public info beyond the site itself: no wiki page, no blog (the blog link currently 404s), and no team list.

What's in HeyPenguin

• Free membership and coins

Membership and coins are free for everyone, and the support page says you never have to pay for anything.

You can tint each clothing slot separately, like !head 00ff00 or !feet 55cc99, so the same item can look different on everyone.

!ai adds an item by ID, !addall gives you every item and !removeall clears your inventory.

• Size, speed and mood

!size and !speed change how big your penguin is and how fast it walks, and !mood sets a custom status line.

Is HeyPenguin safe?

Moderation and chat filtering on HeyPenguin are weak from what we've seen, so younger players should be careful and nobody should share personal info in chat. Security is rated low, which means it's missing some of the basics we check for, like proper HTTPS, up to date software or a protected sign-up. Like with any CPPS, use a password you don't use anywhere else.
