About CPPS.APP

A Russian-language Club Penguin private server that ran from 2020 to early 2024 and came back in June 2025. You can play in the browser or through their own open-source launcher, and the island runs monthly parties, puffles, secret agent missions and stamps.

CPPS.APP is a Club Penguin remake aimed at Russian speakers. It first opened on May 28, 2020 and its owner is listed on the CPPS wiki under the username Архитектор ("Architect"). The whole site and game are in Russian.

The server shut down on January 25, 2024 after announcing the closure in December 2023. At that point it had about 23,000 registered players. On February 11, 2025 the team announced it was coming back, and the relaunch went live on June 14, 2025. The new site's terms and privacy policy are dated June 13, 2025, and the launcher repo on GitHub was made in early June 2025.

The homepage pitches the classic stuff: become a secret agent and solve the island's mysteries, adopt and care for puffles, earn a black belt at the dojo, and collect stamps. There are monthly holidays like fairs and New Year, and minigames from Puffle Rescue to Smoothie Smash for coins. A Top 100 page ranks the richest players, top stamp collectors, best igloo builders and most active players.

Most of the community lives on VK, Telegram and Discord. Back in 2023 a fan-made Discord bot called Puffle Bot let people link their penguins, transfer coins, check profiles and see who was online, but its developer shut it down when the server closed.

What's in CPPS.APP

  • Russian language

Everything from the site to the game is in Russian, which makes it one of the few CPPS built for Russian speakers.

  • Monthly parties

The site promises a holiday every month, like fairs and New Year, with gifts and unique items to collect.

  • Classic activities

Secret agent missions, puffle care, the dojo black belt, stamps and minigames like Puffle Rescue and Smoothie Smash are all advertised on the homepage.

  • Top 100 board

A leaderboard page ranks players by coins, stamps, igloo building and time spent online.

  • Open-source launcher

The browser version works, but they recommend their launcher for stability and full features. It has builds for Windows 7+, macOS 10.15+ and Linux (AppImage and .deb), and the code is on GitHub under CC0.

Is CPPS.APP safe?

CPPS.APP has a chat filter and some moderation, but it can be hit or miss. It's fine for most players, just use the report button if something's off. Security is rated low, which means it's missing some of the basics we check for, like proper HTTPS, up to date software or a protected sign-up. Like with any CPPS, use a password you don't use anywhere else.

How to play CPPS.APP

CPPS.APP needs its own app, since browsers stopped running Flash in 2021. Download it from cpps.app and nowhere else, then log in or make an account through the app. Heads up, the game and community are mostly in Russian.
