A free browser server built around customization commands: free items, recolor your penguin, layer and tint clothes, style your name and chat bubble, and queue music on a jukebox. Meant for players 16 and up.

CPPS.chat is a free HTML5 server you play in the browser, and the CPPS wiki lists it as AS2. The site describes minigames, custom rooms and items, and parties and events, but most of what it actually shows is a long list of customization commands.

Commands let you add any clothing item or every item at once, add furniture and igloos, change your body, beak, eye and snowball colors with hex codes, layer and tint items, style your name and status, recolor chat bubbles and emotes, change your size and speed, turn off walls or turn on slippery ice movement, and play songs through a jukebox. There's also a draggable customization panel and interface tint options.

Accounts need a verified email, passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, and you can see your own login history in the account manager. The privacy policy says the service isn't aimed at kids under 16. Rules allow political talk if it stays civil, ban hate speech and doxxing, and say harassment of players outside the game can still get you banned in-game. When we checked in October 2026, the site said its Discord was temporarily unavailable.

  !ai and !af add clothing and furniture, !addigloo adds igloos, and !addall gives you every clothing item for the session.

• Penguin colors

  Set your body, beak, eye, snowball and ring colors with hex codes.

• Item layering and tints

  !layer stacks extra items in a slot and !layertint recolors them.

• Name, status and bubble styling

  Change name color and stroke, set status text with its own color and glow, and recolor chat bubbles and emotes.

• Movement tweaks

  Change size and walking speed, turn wall collision off, or use slippery ice movement.

• Jukebox

  !jb or !songrequest plays a song by search or URL.

Is CPPS.chat safe?

CPPS.chat has a chat filter and some moderation, but it can be hit or miss. It's fine for most players, just use the report button if something's off. Its security looks okay from the outside, but it's missing a few extras the best servers have. Like with any CPPS, use a password you don't use anywhere else.
